If you keep receiving spam, you can always increase the level or if you are scared that you may skip a legitimate message, you can combine the automated spam filter with a custom one and redirect all messages from a certain sender to another email account. In case you reach the decision that you no longer need anti-spam protection for a given mailbox, you can deactivate it with only a couple of clicks of the mouse.

The level can be altered at any time if, for example, legitimate emails get filtered, or if spam emails go through and appear in your Inbox folder. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered emails to be delivered to a special email account like spam@your-domain.com and not to be deleted. In this way, you can examine them from time to time to ensure that you have not missed out on an authentic message.
