Custom Error Pages in Shared Hosting
You'll be able to set up custom made error pages for all of your Internet sites easily when you use any of our Linux shared hosting. This can easily be done using the Hosted Domains part of the Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with all accounts and once you go there, you'll be able to set your customized pages independently for any domain or subdomain. You must upload the files to your account in advance and enter the links to them during the process. This feature may be de-activated whenever you want and the options you'll be able to choose from are a conventional page from our system or a default Apache server page. Custom error pages can be set with an .htaccess file as well. The file should be placed in the domain or subdomain folder and it must contain some system code and links to the pages. If you're not tech-savvy, you could copy the whole content necessary for the file from our Help section.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Including your personal pages for any of the 4 error types to any web site hosted from a semi-dedicated server account with us will be very uncomplicated and won't take more than a couple of clicks. When you upload the files to your account, you can check out the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia CP and edit any of the domains and subdomains listed there via an intuitive interface with drop-down menus. You can choose what page should display for each error type. The alternatives are a standard Apache web server page or a page from our system, and custom made pages. If you select the abovementioned option, you need to type in the link to every single page in your account, then save the change. The link or the kind of page which shows up if a user encounters an error can be changed whenever you want. If you're more experienced, you can use an .htaccess file so as to set custom made error pages as well, instead of using our integrated generator tool, and in case you choose this option, the file needs to be placed in the root directory of a given domain or subdomain.
